Featured in Interior Design: Architectural Collaboration at O&M

Interior Design magazine features the unique collaboration between BUILD, Kennerly Architecture & Planning and Pfau Long Architecture on the design of the O&M buildings in San Francisco's Dogpatch neighborhood.

As discussed in the article, by bringing together this team, we found that "the sum is greater than its parts".

We love to read Pfau and Kennerly's comments in this interview piece:

  • Peter Pfau: "Collaborating allowed us to rethink how we conceived the block. Because the lot was so long, at 350 feet, it made sense to split it up. It was too big to do by ourselves."
  • Owen Kennerly: "With multiple design expressions, each of was inspired by the other’s work."
  • PP: "We thought about how people would live there and what would make them happy. "
